Twice a year the Australia government compiles lists of occupations that are in medium to very high demand in Australia. See if you occupation is on the lists:
If your occupation is on one of the lists you may be eligible to apply to migrate to Australia either permanently or temporarily.
If your occupation is on one of these lists it has been allocated a number of points. In order to qualify for a Skilled Migrant visa your nominated occupation must be on one of these lists and your skills need to be assessed by an “Australian Skills Assessment Authority”. You must also pass a “points test” which includes the points awarded for your nominated occupations.
